Delete your account or data

BandhuWay keeps core records on your device. Use the matching option below to remove local records, revoke sign-in, or request deletion of account-linked information.

Delete local journeys and contacts

  1. Delete individual records in BandhuWayOpen the relevant journey or person and use the available delete action. Records removed this way disappear from the app’s normal views.
  2. Or remove all local app dataUninstall BandhuWay. On Android, you can alternatively open Settings → Apps → BandhuWay → Storage → Clear storage. Device wording may vary.
  3. Understand what sign-out doesSigning out does not delete local journeys or contacts. This prevents a temporary sign-out from erasing the journal on that device.

Request deletion of your BandhuWay account

If you used a supported sign-in method or believe BandhuWay holds account-linked information, send a deletion request from the email associated with the account when possible.

Email a deletion request

Send requests to support@bandhuway.com with the subject Delete my BandhuWay account. Include the account email or Apple private relay email, your platform, and the app version if known. Do not send a password, Apple password, QR payload, or identification document unless we specifically explain why verification is legally necessary.

What will be deleted

  • the BandhuWay authentication account under our control, if one exists;
  • profile information associated with that account;
  • account-linked cloud records controlled by BandhuWay, if cloud storage was enabled for your release.

What may remain

  • Local device data: we cannot remotely erase data stored only on your device. Remove it using the steps above.
  • Information already shared: a person who scanned or received your QR details may have retained their own copy.
  • Required records: limited security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or legal-compliance records may be retained where required, then deleted or anonymized when no longer necessary.
  • Independent Apple or Google accounts: deleting BandhuWay data does not delete your Apple ID or Google account.

Revoke Sign in with Apple access

You can also manage apps using your Apple ID from your Apple account settings. Revoking access stops future Apple authentication for BandhuWay but does not necessarily erase locally stored records or complete a BandhuWay deletion request.
