1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using BandhuWay, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter into these terms and meet the minimum age required in your country.
2. What BandhuWay provides
BandhuWay is a personal travel-contact journal. It can help you record journeys, people, encounter notes, contact methods, and QR cards containing selected details. Features can vary by platform, country, device, app version, and release status.
BandhuWay is not an emergency service, identity-verification service, professional contact-management system, or guaranteed backup service. Do not rely on it as the only copy of information that is critical to you.
3. Accounts and access
Some versions or platforms may require a supported sign-in method. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and account and for activity conducted through them. Provide accurate information and promptly notify us if you believe access has been compromised.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to use BandhuWay lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- store, share, or process another person’s information without an appropriate basis or contrary to their reasonable expectations;
- use QR sharing to mislead, impersonate, harass, spam, defraud, or distribute harmful material;
- attempt to bypass security, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, disrupt infrastructure, or gain unauthorized access;
- use BandhuWay in a way that violates privacy, intellectual-property, export, sanctions, consumer-protection, or other applicable laws.
5. Your content and permissions
You retain rights in information and content you add to BandhuWay. You are responsible for having the right to store and share it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process content for features you request, such as displaying it in the app, authenticating your account, syncing it if an optional cloud feature is enabled, or responding to support requests.
A QR card is meant to be read by another person’s device. Treat selected QR details as disclosed once you show or send the code. We cannot control what a recipient does with information after receiving it.
6. Our software and brand
BandhuWay, its visual identity, software, website, and related materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these terms and store rules, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the service, comply with law, address security, or reflect platform requirements. Offline operation does not guarantee permanent availability of local data; device loss, storage failure, operating-system actions, or uninstalling the app can remove it.
8. Third-party services
BandhuWay may interact with services provided by Apple, Google, Supabase, device operating systems, or contact-platform links you choose to open. Their terms and privacy practices govern their services. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.
9. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, BandhuWay is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or that stored information will never be lost. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so these exclusions may not fully apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BandhuWay and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of data, contacts, opportunities, profits, or goodwill; or conduct of people with whom you exchange information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Ending use and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time. Uninstalling the app removes local app data according to your operating system, but may not delete an authentication account or records retained by a configured cloud service. Follow the steps on our data deletion page to request deletion of account-linked data.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date will be changed, and material updates will be communicated by an appropriate method. Continued use after updated terms take effect indicates acceptance where permitted by law.
